We are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, one of the UKs leading names within the roofing sector. They are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their design & technical team.
This position will involve creating precise roofing layout drawings for use in estimating, production, and on-site installation, performing calculations, and completing risk assessments for all designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
The successful candidate should have experience working as a CAD Technician in construction, manufacturing, or engineering, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Experience with Drawing Express is desirable. Knowledge of roofing products, British Standards for flat roof systems is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential. The role is working remotely however will be part of a strong technical team. The position will also be offering technical advice & guidance to the commercial team and clients.
