Our client is an established roofing & cladding contractor with a reputation for delivering high quality commercial & industrial projects. An opportunity has presented itself for a Health & Safety Manager to join the team and implement all aspects of health & safety throughout the company. Candidates will need to reside in the northwest as our client is based in the Greater Manchester area.
Responsibilities will include handling compliance in regard to accreditations, audit all outgoing projects, producing RAMs for all new projects, adjudication of sub-contractor RAMs, Produce COSHH assessments for all products used throughout the company. Improve on innovative solutions to handle health & safety within the roofing industry would require some research while staying abreast of changing legislation and briefing the team on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within the construction sector, demonstrating clear and decisive communication at all levels. Responsible for training employees, providing health and safety advice, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization.
