Category Manager

We are delighted to be working with a leading European manufacturer who has an opening for a Category Manager to work closely with the National Category Director and play instrumental role in the continued growth in the UK. The role will involve ensuring the company has an active presence in all major accounts and monitoring turnover objectives for all accounts. Advising management any method of sales promotional activity and ensure sales costs remain within specified budgets.  

To manage, develop, monitor and supervise sub-ordinates by providing relevant training and updating training plans on a 12 monthly basis. Support ASMs on all activities making full use of product samples, literature and other sales promotional aids. Deal promptly with all customer queries, complaints and communicate clearly with the company of action taken or required. Set sales targets and recommend pricing structure. The successful candidate will be product focused with a process driven approach to ensure all reports on all competitive activity/information is reported to the Category Director, being fully aware of company procedure & policies.
