Technical Area Sales Manager

My client is a leading manufacturer of building envelope products with a widely recognised presence across the UK. With a reputation for supplying high quality roofing systems and delivering refurbishment & new build projects. An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced sales person to join their refurbishment team, covering East Anglia. 

We would like to speak to technical salespeople with experience in building envelope products. If this is not within flat roofing, my client has the resources to teach & develop this. What is essential is candidates understand of specification sales and have a 'can do' approach. The position will be selling a full range of flat roof waterproofing systems. Identifying sales/project opportunities and working with a wide range of clients including Architects, Specifiers, End Users along with working alongside a network of approved Contractors. Carrying out roof surveys & reports, confidently presenting CPDs, foreseeing technical issues and offering solutions while working closely with others divisions within the company.

The successful candidate must have the ability to increase new business levels & grow the sales territory. Developing new client relationships and enhancing existing ones. Promoting new products, attending trade shows and accurately producing reports on activity levels. A strong but effective negotiator with the career ambition to make a difference.
