Area Sales Manager

An opportunity has presented itself to join a widely recognised name in the roofing industry. An experienced salesperson is required to join the national sales team, focusing on Northwest & Northeast. 

Their goal will be to achieve an annual area target, selling the complete range of products to roofing & building merchants along with developing the contracting side of the business. This will comprise of maintaining existing clients as well as increasing the client base across the region. Identifying new sales opportunities, provide expert knowledge and support, monitor & reviews sales margins, ensure all KPIs are achieved and ready to offer product demonstrations & staff training when required. 

The ideal candidate will be self motivated with a proven track record in developing relationships. A strong negotiator and influential when promoting sales in face to face meetings. Understanding of flat roofing systems along with knowledge of installation to advise clients accordingly. A clear & precise communicator with good awareness of the codes of practice relevant to flat roofing. Ability to interface with Outlook, Excel, PP, Word and CRM System so activity levels and reports can be produced.
