- Description
My client is an established but expanding Roofing Contractor with a respected reputation for delivering high quality projects across the southeast of the UK. As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, the primary role will be ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget by estimating costs, managing contracts, and controlling expenses. Working closely with Project Manager on projects with a contract value of between 250K to 5M. Some commuting will be involved when attending site visits/inspections and the inclusion of tender meetings.
A clear & decisive communicator who can liaise with clients and contractors through the project life circle, from initial planning to completion. Monitor project spending, identify potential cost overruns, and implement measures to stay within budget. Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the project while ensuring the construction work meets legal and quality standards. On occasion, you must be prepared to assist in resolving contractual disputes between the client and contractors.
