Technical Manager | Roofing Solutions
We’re looking for a Technical Manager to join our Roofing Solutions division covering
London/Eastern Region
Salary: £38,000.00 - £40,000.00 + Electric Vehicle + Company Benefits
Contract Basis: Full-Time, Permanent
Job Purpose
Our technical department provides in-house and on-site technical support across the business to support the correct specification, monitoring and delivery of LWS guarantees. The team is responsible for ensuring that the service levels of our guarantees are upheld and for helping internal colleagues, external clients, and customers with technical-related queries. Our external operations team provide on-site technical support for live projects. The team is responsible for monitoring projects and ensuring that specifications are followed. The external operations team is responsible for ensuring that completed installations will function as expected under the terms of the specified LWS guarantee. As a technical manager, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to live LWS projects, including weekly monitoring.
Key Accountabilities
• To provide on-site technical support for projects. Supporting our colleagues, contractors, and clients in the delivery of robust specifications.
• Undertake project installation monitoring in accordance with the company operating procedures, KPIs and direction from our Operations Manager for External Services.
• Monitor projects in accordance with the company operating procedures, using the company app.
• Where required, provide toolbox talks to on site operatives following non-conformance reports to proactively improve standards.
• You may be required to undertake annual aftercare inspections of projects during their first 5 years of guarantee to support our Aftercare Operations team.
• You may be required to support the technical team with on-site audits of potential contractors, prior to their approval.
