Aluminium Estimator
Product Knowledge: Aluminium Windows/Bi-Fold Doors
Sales Area / Based: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary / Package: £30,000 - £35,000
Our clients are the leading manufacturers and suppliers of windows, doors, conservatories and curtain walling for the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire areas. Based in Lincoln, covering Newark, Sleaford, Grantham, Gainsborough and Horncastle, among other areas. Being the go-to name for trade and commercial projects for both supply and fit and supply only.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
· Read all specification documents and drawings received from Architects/Clients. Provide detailed quotations for windows, doors, and curtain wall for our systems Liniar, ALUK, SAS and more. Using software such as Logikal and AutoCAD to provide accurate drawings and calculations.
· Designing and issuing detailed contract drawings for approval by architects and main contractors – confirming final details i.e., ironmongery and glass specifications. Compare tender drawings against later revisions keeping an eye for changes and highlighting cost implications.
· Amend when required, original quotation in line with revised instructions by client and management team/
WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO US
- Previous experience in the Fenestration industry from Curtain walling, Aluminium Windows, Doors or Glazing within an estimating role.
- Professional and presentable with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
