We have the pleasure in supporting one of the UK's leading manufacturers of waterproofing systems who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Director. The Sales Director will report directly to the Company Director and work in close partnership with the Head of Marketing, Group Head of Technical, Finance, Operations and the wider Senior Leadership Team. This is a role that demands genuine commercial authority, strong sales leadership, strategic account capability, and the ability to translate business ambition into clear field-level execution across national accounts, buying groups, regional merchants and contractor channels.
The ideal candidate will be a senior sales leader who has operated at or near director level within a commercially rigorous B2B environment, ideally in construction materials, building products, roofing, waterproofing, distribution, industrial manufacturing, or a closely related technical sector. They will be a confident board-level contributor, a credible voice on commercial strategy, and someone who builds sales teams that are disciplined, data-led, customer-focused and respected across the wider business.
Full ownership of the UK and Ireland sales strategy, aligned the company's commercial objectives, growth targets and long-term strategic plan. Overall accountability for revenue delivery, gross margin protection, sales forecasting, customer development and pipeline performance across all key sales channels.
