We are pleased to be representing one of the UK's leading suppliers of roofing systems & products. Along with a global presence within the construction sector, this is an organisation where many people have built a long-standing a career. We have the opportunity for a technical salesperson with a background in flat roofing to join their national 'refurbishment' team.
Covering a northern Homes Counties area, the role will involve prospecting for commercial & industrial roofing projects via Building Surveyors, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Contractors etc. A strong technical understanding across a variety of flat roofing systems will be required although specific product training will be given.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in developing & enhancing long term relationships in order to customer expectation and repeat business.
Must be able to confidently present CPDs, carry out roof surveys, attend trade shows and specification events to promote systems and service. Offering technical advice and solutions when required and managing and protecting a strong specification pipeline to ensure customer satisfaction through to completion. Good I.T. skills to regular report on progression and activity levels. Liaising with colleagues, technical department and management to share successes and contribute to problem solving while working accordingly to market conditions & trends.
